Shane Sparks Dancer

Click2Dance is proud to have Shane Sparks within the Completely Street Breakdance and Hip Hop Series.

Shane Sparks has worked with artists such as Lindsay Lohan, Marques Houston and Omarion of B2K on the film “You Got Served”, and in the new R&B sensation O’Ryan’s (Omarion’s younger brother) video, “Take it Slow”, as well as his promotional tour. Sparks was also the choreographer for *NSYNC’s 2004 “Challenge for the Children” Celebrity Basketball Game at the Office Depot Center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Sparks was a judge for the 2004 World Hip-Hop Championship. He was also a choreographer for the Wade Robson workshop held in Miami. Recently he has been in demand to teach master classes and workshops from Florida to Japan. His face can be spotted on every dance publication and website across the country.

Shane, a multimedia talent, has his hands in many projects at any one time - TV, film, Internet, music videos, workshops, national conventions, and more. Currently, he is popularized by Fox's national hit show SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE reality show where he sits on the panel of three judges with Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe, as well as choreographs for the show. Nigel was so impressed with Shane's choreography on the film - "You Got Served" - he sought him out for the show. The Reality TV show?s second season this past summer 2006 averaged 10 million viewers per episode, up nearly 20 percent from its debut summer of 2005, garnering the show as a Top 10 program in 2006. February 2007 begins auditions nationwide for the anticipated third season.

Shane's style is a mixture of many ... You can't put a name to it. "My style is a little bit of everything. One minute it'll be straight dirty hip hop, the next it'll be hip hop with a little pop feel, and next there'll be a little jazz. No matter what, it's always very sexy and aggressive. It's all about movin' your chest and hips in a rhythmic way without losin' the beat and killin' it all at the same time. But put your heart into it and be real," says Shane.

We welcome the multi-talented Shane Sparks on staff here at Click2Dance.
