Scotty Nguyen has been professionally dancing since the age of thirteen. As well as being well versed in many styles of dance such as hip hop, jazz, breakdance, and krump, Scotty is also a black belt in Okinawan martial arts. Throughout his career he has worked with some of the biggest pop stars including Michael Jackson and has repeatedly danced for some of the greatest choreographers like Vince Paterson. Scotty has worked with companies such as Reebok, Nike, Sony, Nintendo, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Nickelodeon, Mattel, as well as, a strong portfolio of breakdancing credits within TV and Film. (Adam Sandler movie "The Wedding Singer".) Currently, you can find Scotty on the new American Idol billboards across the nation.

As a choreographer, Scotty has finished pop video choreography for Sony recording artist Melissa Schumann (formerly of "Dream") and newly-signed Epic recording group Shut Up Stella. Scotty’s latest credits include another national television commercial for Xbox, Bratz Dolls, Mortal Kombat video games, and he also can be found krumping in a recent Apple iPod campaign. Scotty has been given the award of “Best Choreography” at many national competitions and has just led his hip hop dance company to win three consecutive national championships.

Along with choreography, Scotty's teaching in hip hop and breakdance is unparalleled. His approach to each specific move is detailed and methodical which helps eliminate any confusion in learning. Scotty’s energetic personality creates the ultimate learning experience which is fun, inspiring, and motivational.
