The Air Baby is a very advanced freeze that involves
the breaker to counter-balance his weight. It’s
basically a low one-arm handstand with the knee on the
supporting arm’s elbow. Beginner b-boys start by
extending their arm away from their body to
counter-balance the extended leg. Skilled breakdancers
can execute the Air Baby without the extended arm
relying on balance and forearm control.
The following are some fundamentals to master before
trying the Air Baby:
- Floor Pose
- Handstands
- One-Arm Handstand
